Painting 011 (Medium to Large): Night (14" x 18")

14" x 18" no need for a (frame)

This abstract painting can be hung in two different directions. One way looks resembles layers of flowers, earth and water with slender tree trunks reaching into the sky. The other position brings to mind roots stretching far beneath the glowing orange earth. Either way, it's a magical fantasy.

It's created with brilliant inks on Yupo paper, adhered to birch board and enhanced with shiny resin. No need for a frame. The raw wood sides of this contemporary piece are stained with teak oil (see the example).
